Scope

Yugoslav Society of Automotive Engineers - JUMV invites you to participate at the 16th International Conference ,,SCIENCE AND MOTOR VEHICLES '97". This Conference should keep the spirit of good tradition and continuity as the most eminent inter-national forum in automotive engineering in Serbia, Yugoslavia and this part of Europe. In particular, the 1997 Conference is dedicated to 251h Anniversary of JUMV, but also to 851h Anniversary of Prof. Mihailo Borisavljevic, doyen of the automotive technology in our country and 651h Anniversary of Prof. Dr. Jovan Todorovic, founder and first President of JUMV.

International Conference ,,SCIENCE AND MOTOR VEHICLES '97" is an opportunity to assess the devel-opment in automotive and supply industry in our coun-try and this part of Europe, and to offer it to be recog-nized by the automotive industry in developed coun-tries, with particular emphasis of the applied scientific and engineering efforts.

This two-and-a-half days International Conference will consist of a general panel and individual technical ses-sions, also organized in the panel form. The International Programme Committee will delegate ses-sion organizers to organize and chair individual techni-cal sessions. A number of key-note speakers and invited authors is foreseen.

Submission of papers

Authors are invited to offer paper(s) by November 30, 1996. Each paper should be proposed by means of an abstract of approximately 500 words in Serbian or English language. The proposed paper should be relevant to the scientific areas specified above. In addition to the name, affiliation and mailing address of the author(s) each proposed abstract must:
a) state the tentative title of the proposed paper,
b) state the main conclusion(s) of the paper,
c) summarize the process by which the conclusion(s) were reached,
d) state the contribution of the paper to the Conference topics,
e) indicate whether the paper has been offered to any other organization.
