BELGRADE STUDENTS FREELY MARCH IN THEIR 80TH DAY OF PROTEST

Belgrade students organized on Feb. 9 their 80th protest against the non-honoring of the voters will. Some 12,000 students rallied in the evening in front of the School of Philosophy and then marched through the city's main streets. The students cheered loudly as they passed by the home of their colleague Rastko Kostic, who was severely beaten by police in the night between Feb. 2 and 3. Like in the previous days, the police made no attempt to prevent the students' march.
