BELGRADE SCHOOL OF PHILOSOPHY STOPS ALL ACTIVITY
The Council of the Belgrade School of Philosophy has responded to the appeal of the Belgrade University Board of Deans by stopping all its activities to show its protest against the harassment of people in the streets of Belgrade. On Feb. 4, Dean of the School of Philosophy Marija Bogdanovic said all colleges are expected to do the same. The School of Philosophy demands from the authorities to find those responsible for the police intrusion of its premises and the "shameful" harassment of students. The Council also decided to bring criminal charges against the Serbian Ministry of the interior because of the police intrusion of the college and violation of the University's autonomy.
