The Independent Radio Stations are Back on the Air

Index Radio and B92 Radio are Back on the Air

The Serbian Radio and TV Manager has sent a letter to the B92 Radio Manager, saying that the B92 program emission was interrupted because of a water leak in the coaxial antenna cable! "Because of the heavy rain and snow in the past couple of days, a water leak through a crack in the cable, made the cable incompatible with the antenna system, and that led to an immediate disconnection of the emitter", he says.
The B92 Radio station is continuing to emit its program normally.
Index Radio continued to emit its program also, starting Thursday, 2:20 PM. Its emitter was disconnected after the order made by one of the RTS personnel. The Index Radio staff has dismissed the charges against the RTS Manager, but they say they will press them again if something like this is repeated.

Index on the air again!

After 14:25 CET the program of Index Radio is on the air again, due to the ultimatum presented to the Radio and Television of Serbia.
The staff of Index demanded a reconnection by 15:00 CET. Otherwise they would press charges against RTS.
I would like to say how grateful I am to all conscious people who are working as technicians in RTS for reestablishing our full broadcast.
