This uion beleives that every human being in the world should have equal democratic rights
Therefore our union, as the largest student union of University of London , strongly supports the Declaration of Decency of the Student Protest 96/97. We are supporting the reinstatment of the second round electoral results whicj reflect the choice of people of Serbia. Thus we denounce every and any move of the gevernment in Belgrade aimed at annulling these valid electoral results. We strongly condemn the total internal media blocade imposed by the government of Serbia on its own citizens. Any act aimed at crashing your peaceful protest would finally delegitimise the government of Serbia, and disclose its real nature.
We admire your courage, persistence and sense of responsibility for the future.
Every moment you are standing in the cold streets, be aware that we are with you in our minds.
