We found the Chancellor!

Yesterday, on March 4 1997, Mr. Velickovic announced a press conference which was attended by our reporters. The Chancellor informed the present people that the mandate of the University Counsil expired on January 24, and that the government should name the new members of the Counsil. The "Chancellor" repeated that he will hand in his resignation after the students return to class. In rising the tensions with the Student Protest the Chancellor expressed the proposal for the changing of most of the Deans and managers of all 8 institutes of the Belgrade University who supported the Student Protest. The Chancellor also read the names of the Deans and managers who dismissal he is asking for. The revolted students left the conference.
