Yesterday, March 6, 1997, the reporters of the BOOM went out among the students gathered at Plato before the protest walk, in order to conduct a poll (it has almost become our habit!). The one question we asked was:

Do you agree with the decision of the Scientific-educational Council and the Main Board of the Student Protest, made on March 5, that all lectures be held on Friday, March 7?

We put this question to a random sample of 100 students from different schools of Belgrade University (we established this by glancing at the badges they were wearing). They answered as follows: 82% of them were against the decision, 14% agreed with it, and 4% abstained from stating their opinion. (Simple mathematics!)
