BELGRADE, Yugoslavia -- Students, teachers, state TV employees and
people who blame the government for losing their savings protested
Friday against President Slobodan Milosevic, who appears to be looking
for friends in an unlikely place -- Washington.
Protests broke out across Belgrade on Friday:
--An estimated 10,000 students continued their three-month protests against Milosevic, and 200 of them broke away to march toward his home in the exclusive Dedinje district. Security guards blocked their way.
