The Plato

The fifth gathering in the eleventh week of the Student Protest started with the gathering of the students at the Plato in front of the School of Philosophy. The students are protesting against the manipulation of the results of the November 17 elections. The goal of today's protest was the police headquarters in 29 November street, where the students intended to demand the release of their colleagues arrested during the previous evening. The only person to address the students was the representative of the Lawyer's Association of Belgrade who went with the students to the police to be the legal representative in the discussion. The students were informed of the condition of Rastko Kostic, the student most severely injured in the clashes and attacks of the police in Belgrade. He received head injuries and lost two teeth and has bruises on his extremities.

The "Walk"

The walk was a direct one to the police headquarters: down Vasina and 29 November. The students made a circle around the building and the 30,000 gathered students made a full circle, completely surrounding the building. There the representatives entered the building while the students waited outside. After about an hour's wait the students returned to the Plato where the gathering ended.
