At the protest gathering at Plato today the students were addressed by Danilo Stojkovic and Petar Kralj, prominent actors, Isidora Sekulic, writer and an american journalist.

The steering board of the student protest announced that the protest rally tomorrow was due to start at 21:00 and that the students should attend the christmas eve's liturgy served by the patriarch, his Holiness Pavle at 24:00 in front of St. Sava church in Belgrade.

(18:00 GMT)

The protest walk was lead by Dragoljub Djuricic, drummer of the rock band "Leb i Sol" and a number of students with various musical instruments. The procession was restricted to Knez Mihajlova street, because the special police forces, again, prevented it from reaching other parts of the city.

The rally reached its climax at the RTS news report hour, when the Belgrade citizens joined us again from their windows and balconies banging on everything within reach (pots, pans, bells, etc.) and continuing the "Noise is in" fashion (also known as "Noise is all the rage") established a few days ago.

The walk ended at about 20:30.
