The Plato

The students gathered for the last time in the 11th week of their protest against the manipulations on the November 17 local elections. There were no special guests who addressed the students at the traditional gathering spot, the Plato. The students were reminded by Cedomir Jovanovic, member of the Initiative Board of why they were there, and asked of them to have faith and confidence in their leadership which has proven itself in the past two and a half months.

The "Walk"

The goal of the student's walk for today was the editorial of the RTS Third Channel, whose journalists have been suspended for supporting the us students during their stand in Kolarceva street. The procession passed through Vasina, Kolarceva, and Prizrenska street. Through the Brankova street the we came to the bridge over the Sava river and crossed into Novi Beograd. We then walked down Milentija Popovica until we came to Sava Center, where the Third Channel is situated. While passing by the main entrance the students shouted "Down with the Third Channel!". On the way back we passed from Brankova street into Carice Milice and into Zmaj Jovina which led us back to the Plato. The gathering has been scheduled for tomorrow also.
