The Plato

The Sunday evening protest walk started with the usual gathering at the Plato in front of the School of Philosophy. The students of both Belgrade Universities are protesting against the manipulation of the November 17 electoral results. The 10,000 gathered students were addressed by Milorad Pavic, well known author, Srdjan Dragojevic movie director and Slobodan Beslic, assistant at the School of Drama Arts. The students were reminded that the demands still haven't been met, and that the protest is still continuing even though the coalition Zajedno has stopped their rallies. The route was not announced by Cedomir Jovanovic because he was a guest in Mladenovac, the municipality in which the electoral results have not been fully recognized.

The "Walk"

The students walked the standard "media walk" passing by RTS, Politika and Radio Belgrade. The walk took us down Kolarceva, Srpskih Vladara and Kneza Milosa to Grandma Olga. The elderly lady greeted us as usual, and the procession returned to the Plato where the gathering ended. There were no incidents and the gathering has been scheduled for tomorrow.
