SOLIDARITY STATEMENT

To the Initiative Board of the Studentski Protest '96/'97:

We, the students of Groningen University, Hanzehogeschool Groningen and other institutions for higher education in Groningen, fully support your protest. We all have great admiration for your determination, endurance and creativity. We are aware of the fact that your protest is peaceful, that you refrain from the use of violence and vandalism and we hope that you will continue to do so. We believe your demands deserve to be met, therefore, we are happy to join you in your struggle for democracy in Serbia. You fight for a true cause!
