COUNCIL OF DEANS The Council of Deans and members of the Teaching Council of the University of Belgrade considered that the first demand of the Student Protest, which was the recognition of the electoral results according to the true will of the voters, was met by the adoption of the special law (lex specialis). However the council thought that the demand for the replacement of the University Chancellor and the Student pro-rector had not yet been met, which was the reason for another delay in the restarting of lectures at the University. The Council of Deans insists that the University Chancellor should resign without any further delay. Copyright © 1997 by Radio B92.
